On the first day of vacation, I got a call from my accountant, informing me that I was being extorted by the IRS to the tune of the entirety of my reserve fund in the business for the crime of having a profitable year; it is a lot of money, and I have no alternative.

It took me an hour to walk it off, and I slept poorly. But I told my kids, the next day, build it again. Over and over. Force them to tear it down. Force them to show you who they are. Never let them win by demoralizing you.

I am so sorry that happened to you. I know that money will show up doubled in some other way. Keep building. It will come!

It always feels like two steps forward, one step back, so then, yeah, just take the next two steps!

Indeed and I'm not an optimist to suggest that it may be ten steps or more forward before the next set back. The practice of gratitude usually brings more objectivity in this matter to me.
