I did this with my computer company. Sort of. Any of those religious zealots who demanded we wear masks, we demanded that we either not wear them at all or we do full religion. In other words, we want to see the door sanitized before and after we enter it. We want to see the counter sanitized before and after we approach it. We want to see hands washed. We would wash our hands before touching their credit cards and we would insist that they wash their hands also. It was a zoo. We told them if they were going to be zealots, they better do it right.

People tend to tolerate what is convenient. Make it inconvenient or in this case, trying to make it indefinite wears on people.
