Welcome To Fucking Bowie

My girlfriend has been telling me for 15 months how bad it is in Bowie, MD where she lives. I have been hearing how bad it is everywhere, so I wasn’t very impressed by her stories. I don’t know if “impressed” is the correct word. As it turns out, I owe her an apology for assuming she just didn’t want to make waves when she shopped in a mask.

She recently took a road trip to Chicago in the heart of what has lovingly been referred to as HELLinois since it is notorious for the statewide tyranny using the “pandemic” as their alibi. Their governor has become the infamous face of disgrace since the whole “pandemic” started. So what would being in Chicago, Hellinois be like for a girl struggling with a quiet place like Bowie, MD?

Heaven, as it turns out. She was in heaven leaving Bowie, MD and traveling to Chicago. In fact, she said they didn’t wear a mask the entire road trip.

So why aren’t we hearing about Maryland and Bowie since the beginning of this nonsense?

I have a couple theories. I’ll start with this one: no one is actually upset about Maryland. Maryland is a hotbed for Beltway employees. These are not the law makers who know better and make their own mask rules using their own convenience or risk of exposure- to public scrutiny as the marker. They’re not concerned about exposure to Covid, of course. They don’t, as their behavior would testify, give a shit about a virus. People in Bowie, MD commute in and live hours outside the Beltway because they typically can’t afford to live comfortably in the Beltway. These are the lower level, order followers of the Empire. They tend to believe unquestioningly in whatever their place of employment tells them as the arbiters of truth. They are the US government and their cohorts after all, and these people take pride in their relatively higher paid positions compared to their brothers and sisters scattered around the country making pennies on the dollar for the same skill and education level employment. Moreover, this region has on average the highest childcare costs nationwide which forces parents working around the clock to maintain the lifestyle of the affluent Joneses inside the Beltway to hand their children to the “free childcare programs” of the state for any reprieve. The state is school and babysitter. So what does the state of Maryland use as the standard for its education model? Why, the state of Maryland is the nation’s biggest champion and advocate of the Common Core education model. So chances are, people who grow up in MD are dumb as fuck. Why on earth would people who love their government jobs and have no idea what’s going on in the world (much less pay attention to evidence based research) complain about statewide tyranny? They wouldn’t.

I lived in Northern Virginia for almost a decade and had to give Amish farmers hazard pay for carting my contraband raw milk across the risky state of Marlyand to sell it to me. This is a state with a history of placing obedience to its orders above common sense, health and safety.

But what other reason could prevent us from hearing complaints out of Bowie, MD? I’m guessing censorship. If there are any of these government employees and government contractor employees feeling uneasy, they probably risk their jobs to mention it on social media much less take their stories to any media that would just ignore them anyway.

Here I am watching friends flee from Hellinois and all the clammer in the news while my best friend is in a much worse place, evidently. I was kind of shocked by her experience of Chicago. I expected she’d go home counting her blessings. Instead, she went home and counted her reasons to stay under the thumb of an oppressive regime. She shared this with me yesterday. It’s one of those text alerts from the city which she intends to cancel subscription to after this one. I have to admit, when I read it I was in a bit of wonder.

Well, the wording is intentionally manipulative as were most of the messages from this past year. Still, even I was thrown because they didn’t mention case numbers outright. I guess they realized people have started to see through that wording.

Alas, for those who grew up educated by Common Core this is indeed what they are saying: in the US, people ages 18-34 are most prevalently tested and therefore most likely to receive a positive result for Covid even though they are generally asymptomatic or a few have minor cold symptoms. They are not however at any more risk than they have been since the beginning of this fiasco. Or at least, they haven’t been at risk until they started getting vaccinated and since vaccination, outbreaks have been rampant among the vaccinated. The thing is, hospital staff and university and college campus staff and students are all still compelled across the US to get regularly tested when most employers have backed off since Biden became President. This isn’t an effect of nature or a virus, but rather policy driven manipulation of perception. However, this is the demographic they are currently targeting for their for-profit commercial product of which the US government has become the leading “free” advertizing agency.
