Happy Halloween!
One look at the main page for Amazon One has me completely creeped out. Amazon is using your palms (biometric data) to confirm your purchases. Your “crazy” conspiracy theorist friends warned you this was coming soon, and it’s already here. This is a screen grab from their webpage.
Contactless payments are here, and they are linked inextricably to your biometrics. I mean, they will be unless someone cuts your hand off or figures out a way to map a photo of your palm with an app provided for users eventually available to everyone on their phones so they can trace all of our transactions. Think of Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist exchanges. They will likely offer this technology reader to any user to hover over their phone app reader so they can track our first hand sales in the second-hand consumer market. Puns intended. Come to think of it, this might be the most easily hacked ID form ever if all one has to do is get a decent photo of your palm without you knowing it (by standing behind you in line or something) with their palm reader app open and an active invoice. But let’s get back to this spooktacular Halloween addition of my blog.
We all owe our friends in palmistry an apology as the future was there all along. Palmistry is thought to be the reading of one’s unique palm lines and where they begin, end and intersect to determine one’s future course in life. An example of the possible future of this new technology: if your palm lines show your business has intersected with the lineage of a person who has “extremist views,” your bank account line (or perhaps, even your lifeline) might be brought to an untimely end. But this is all a prediction, of course and not reality… yet.
Things are changing fast. I think people generally feel dizziness right now from how rapidly the world appears to be turning and how less certain we are of our place in it.
There is hope and good reason for it! It’s not as backwards or entirely lacking in advancement as you might be thinking.
What can we do to go back (or forward) to a time where every transaction in the marketplace can be truly free and isn’t linked to our person? More specifically, how can I buy organic seeds for my garden without everyone at Langely or the data collection hub of the NSA knowing about it? If we were solely looking back, trade and barter might be where it’s at. While once upon a time “cash was king,” not so after printing trillions of dollars in circulation out of thin air for two consecutive years (thank Trump AND Biden) to send primarily to banks and pharmaceutical companies for vaccines that do not prevent disease. Things we own may hold more value than the fiat dollars used to purchase them.
A more accessible option may be using traceless, decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges.
Many people are weary of cryptocurrency because they fear the loss of their hard earned fiat dollars. The general public is not as likely to have seen cryptocurrency exchanges used to understand that they work much less how they work. I won’t go into any great explanations. I think they are wasted anyway. The bottom line is as simple as this: crypto has buying power. It seems the more decentralized, the higher the buying power. This is how we know that the economies are shifting in a less spooky direction. I can assure you that they are working for hundreds of millions of people and in possibly trillions of transactions daily. While I used it recently to buy a T shirt at a concert venue with my iPhone, deregulated phones and phone services are also now becoming available.
I would say this is a boon for the resistance to a one world government, proposed great reset and global tyranny. While cryptocurrency is purported to be used by terrorists for bombings etc, what is more terrorist and bombing than the monies we fiat-pay into now with inflationary tax off each transaction controlled by our own bombing governments? Cryptocurrency works so well towards our ends of developing independence from these fascist monopolies, that China has banned all use of them. Ironic, as neither China nor any other government has any way of knowing if one is using them.
Disobey, people. Rules are only as good as they can be enforced, and this cannot be enforced.
Governments may as well ban other invisible, unknowable things such as thoughts. Although, they’ll probably be able to read those or at least tell you they do, before they can get a handle on the runaway train that is DeFi cryptocurrency exchanges.
DeFi cryptocurrencies and exchange platforms are already technologies with monetary value used now which are not only holding this value (as opposed to fiat currency), but are rapidly increasing in value. As I already stated, hundreds of millions of people are using DeFi to shop without the oversight of those who might interrupt your banking service via state-sanctioned seizures. They have solid buying power outside of just the buying, selling and trading of crypto for crypto. I have personally had people buy my toothpowder with cryptocurrency. The thing is, though, one must refuse any government mandated or suggested wallets in cryptocurrency attached to one’s biometric data or personal identification lest we end up right back at scanning our palms at check out.
I am not certain what will happen with all of these quickly changing tools of the modern world, but let’s take one last haunting look at the freaky imagery provided with Amazon One. Like this image.
Why was a woman whose skin is blue seemingly falling through space with what appears to be blood droplets around her face and hands the chosen graphic for marketing this technology?
The signs are everywhere.
Wow. 😦
