Today marks 33 days until my breast reduction surgery. It’s also the New Moon which is often symbolic of rebirth and is a great time to set intentions for the month. I have done a lot today to get the ball rolling toward my goals and ambitions.
I ran out of a few of my supplements as shipping times were sluggish and my weight popped up a bit. I also believe that my use of light weights and my vibration plate are creating more muscle mass. When the body continues to convert fat to muscle, the scale can be wonky and not accurately reflect the changes happening. I am not relying strictly on the scales at this point to mark my progress.
Weight is getting distributed and used differently in my body. I can tell because my body keeps going out of alignment. It’s one of those hallmarks of fat loss.
When I was a massage therapist, I had a client who was rather tall and weighed initially over 400 lbs. He would see me weekly as he was working that weight off to keep his body in alignment. If he woke up and could barely get out of bed, he would call me. After the massage, he could do his daily beach walk again and everything felt good and easy. Weight loss often is a misnomer of redistribution of weight. Muscles you have relied on become less important, and others become more utilized to maintain posture at different weights and shapes.
Today, I saw my chiropractor, and it made a huge difference. I just want to drive home how important getting some form of treatment is. There can be a tendency (speaking for myself) to use the neck, shoulder, hip or low back pain to become sedentary and slack off the physical movement that is improving one’s health. Rather than let this pain carry on for days and weeks, it’s much better to focus on one’s goals and get in for that massage or chiropractic adjustment to keep the body in a goal-getting state.
I also went back to the aerial gym today. I only have one month left to use it before my surgery so I am going to get in there and strengthen the upper body muscles as much as I can. I can’t use those for a while after my surgery, and hopefully, this helps me stay off some weakness. Might even make my recovery easier.
When I came home, I had my New Moon call with my EFT group. I have found tapping on emotional triggers to be helpful in keeping my focus on what matters most personally to me. This group hosted by Melanie Moore has been extremely beneficial to my life, specifically the tapping this year which lead directly to manifesting $100,000 out of the blue. Tapping is incredibly powerful and transformative, and what better day to do it than on the New Moon, with my stated intentions?
After my New Moon call, I joined my husband in our new sauna for some detoxifying sweat therapy. I follow up my time in the sauna with a hot magnetic clay bath for pulling heavy metals from my body. I followed that bath with a tepid shower to rinse off sweat and residue.
Now, I am joining you before I dial in my video camera settings before plugging it into my new Mac Mini with the M1 chip my oldest son helped me set up yesterday.
I am so excited to finally have a Mac because my video teacher, Adrian Salisbury is also the expert trainer for Ecamm Live Academy, Ecamm’s exclusive tutorial workshop. The last Ecamm Live Academy for 2021 is coming up in less than a week. I am SUPER excited to learn from the best in the business. If you already have a Mac, you should join me! Here is a link to my exclusive affiliate sign up for the course as soon as it is offered. The price for this course is increasing in 2022, and Adrian will only be offering it 2 times a year after this year.
