My Sneak Preview

I just finished reading an advanced copy of Ellie Parvin’s book, “Secrets To Successful Communication.” Ellie is a communication professor and course creator of “Speak Live Online.” I have interviewed her on my Freedom Fridays program in the past. She has been a life long, best friend. By life long, I mean we met when we were practically just out of diapers. Nonetheless, I had to almost beg to get my hands on an early preview of her new book.

It is FABULOUS.

As a person who does all the don’ts, I learned a lot about the value of listening, walking away from conversations that last too long, psychological aspects of various color choices for backgrounds as well as the use of green screens when doing online videos for communication, proper email etiquette, when to interrupt and when to abstain from interruptions and so much more!

It’s an easy read and is structured as a workbook with room at the end of each lesson for those note taking learners that retain more for having jotted down key points.

I highly recommend it for people in any sort of marketing, speaking online or even anyone who wants to improve personal relationships. There’s so much solid, evidenced backed advice for even communicating in a romantic partnership!
